You know your business.
Let’s understand what the
numbers are telling you.

A conversation over business records.

Financial advisory for business owners who want to understand their numbers, ask better questions and decide what needs attention next.

Revenue is up. Why does cash still feel tight?

Look beyond the sales total.

Bring: Recent financial reports, unpaid customer invoices and upcoming commitments.

Discuss: What has changed? When is money expected, and what is due before then?

Next: Identify the information needed to discuss cash timing and the next issue to review.

I’m considering a new business expense.

Review the numbers behind your decision.

Bring: Current reports, the proposed cost and the commitments already in place.

Discuss: Is the cost one-time or recurring? What information is missing from the decision?

Next: Define the questions to resolve before committing, including whether further analysis is needed.

I have reports. I don’t know what they mean.

Turn a report into a conversation.

Bring: Your recent profit and loss statement, balance sheet and questions about unfamiliar items.

Discuss: Which changes need explanation? Are the underlying books current enough to rely on?

Next: Separate what the records explain from what needs clarification or bookkeeping work.

Examples of discussion topics. Your engagement depends on your situation and agreed scope.

The support

From a report
to understanding.

  1. Cash flow & reporting
  2. Plans & actual results
  3. Agreed next steps
A guide to the conversation. Your records and agreed scope determine the review.

Review cash flow and reporting

Review agreed financial and management reports, cash timing and changes in the business. Identify missing information and issues that need attention before drawing conclusions.

Compare plans with actual results

Discuss budget-versus-actual results, upcoming commitments and the business decision in front of you. The review focuses on the records and questions agreed for your engagement.

Leave with a clear next step

Receive a written recap of the priorities discussed, information still needed and agreed actions. For ongoing support, Financial Partnership includes monthly advisory meetings, management reporting, cash-flow review and budget-versus-actual discussions.

Know which services are included.

Bookkeeping cleanup, tax preparation and additional analysis are not automatically included. We agree on any additional work and fees before proceeding. This is business decision support, not a fractional CFO package or investment-management service.

Working together

Defined from
the first conversation.

  1. 01

    Start with fit

Tell us about the business, the question and any time-sensitive decision. We confirm whether this service is appropriate.

  2. 02

    Agree on the work

Review and sign an agreement covering scope, fees, records needed and communication expectations before work begins.

  3. 03

    Review and discuss

Share the requested information using the method we confirm. We review the agreed records and work through your questions together.

  4. 04

    Set the next step

Review your recap and responsibilities. If ongoing support is appropriate, agree on its scope, frequency and fees separately.

Your part: provide complete information, flag missing records, respond to questions and make the business decisions. Missing information can affect timing and scope.

Scope & preparation

Know what to expect
before you commit.

Bring the question.
We’ll clarify what else is needed.

  • A short description of your business and the decision or concern.
  • Any relevant date, commitment or deadline.
  • Whether your books are current and which reports you already have.

You do not need to send financial documents to book the Discovery Call.

Financial Partnership from $1,500/month.

The quote depends on the question’s complexity, the condition and volume of your records, preparation required, and whether you need a one-time review or ongoing support.

Financial Partnership includes Strategic Finance bookkeeping plus monthly advisory meetings, management reporting, cash-flow review, budget-versus-actual discussions and agreed priority communication. Your written agreement sets the workload, fee and support. Extra analysis or follow-up work is agreed separately.

Your questions

Questions about financial advisory.

Do I need to be a bookkeeping client?

No existing bookkeeping engagement is required to ask about fit. We first confirm whether your available records are suitable for the work. Access, missing information and any cleanup are discussed before the engagement is agreed.

What if my books are behind or incomplete?

You can still start with a Discovery Call. Incomplete records can limit what we can responsibly conclude. Bookkeeping or catch-up work may need to come first and is separately scoped. Explore bookkeeping

Is this tax advice or tax preparation?

This page focuses on understanding your business finances and the questions around a decision. A tax question may require a separately scoped consultation; preparing or filing a return is a different service. Explore tax services

Can I book one conversation instead of ongoing support?

Start with a free Discovery Call. We discuss your question and agree on the scope and fee for any advisory work. Ongoing support is a separate choice.

What should I share when booking?

A brief description of your business, the question and any relevant timing is enough to start. Do not include account passwords, Social Security numbers or financial documents in the booking notes. We confirm what records are needed and how to share them.

What does the free Discovery Call include?

The free 15-minute call covers your situation, service fit and likely scope. It does not include document analysis or detailed financial or tax advice. A booking alone does not create a service engagement.

Does financial advisory include investment management?

No. The service described here concerns business financial understanding and decision support. It does not include investment selection, portfolio management, legal advice, audit or assurance services. Specialist needs are discussed before any work is accepted.
