WHEN THE CURRENT APPROACH ISN’T ENOUGH

Bookkeeping taking too much time?
Get help with the monthly work.

You don’t need to reach a particular revenue number to ask for help. What matters is the work involved and whether your current process is keeping pace.

01 / TOO MUCH ON YOUR PLATE

You’re still doing the books after the workday.

Recording activity, finding receipts, and sorting questions keep landing back on you.

02 / AN UNCLEAR PICTURE

You have records, but you’re unsure they’re current.

Accounts that don’t match their statements, or missing information, make it difficult to know where things stand.

03 / A CHANGE IN SUPPORT

You need a more dependable way to work.

You’re moving beyond DIY or considering a new provider and want a clear plan for the handoff.

DEFINE THE WORK BEFORE IT BEGINS

Know what arrives
each month.

Your monthly bookkeeping service brings account activity, statement reconciliations and financial reports into an agreed routine. Before work begins, we confirm the accounts, reporting basis, schedule and responsibilities in your service agreement.

Core Books

Starting at $500/month.
For established businesses that need dependable monthly records. Includes monthly bookkeeping, bank and credit card reconciliations, a profit and loss statement, balance sheet, tax-ready year-end package and a defined support channel. Account and transaction limits are agreed before work begins.

Strategic Finance

Starting at $850/month.
For businesses that need a more proactive bookkeeping relationship. Includes Core Books, an expanded workload allowance, quarterly financial reviews, tax-readiness and planning coordination, deadline reviews and guidance on additional services when needed.

Financial Partnership

Starting at $1,500/month.
For businesses needing ongoing interpretation and financial decision support. Includes Strategic Finance plus monthly advisory meetings, management reporting, cash-flow review, budget-versus-actual discussions, proactive issue identification and agreed priority communication.

Separately scoped services

Catch-up work, tax returns, payroll, sales tax, bill pay, invoicing and special projects are separate unless expressly included in your agreement. Additional reporting or meetings may be available. Each tier has agreed workload limits; expanded work requires separate approval.

Know what affects your quote. Account count, transaction volume, months behind, entities and reporting needs shape the workload. Your proposal sets out the monthly fee, any setup or catch-up charges, and who pays software costs. Additional work requires your written agreement on scope, price and timing.

BEHIND ON YOUR BOOKS?

You don’t need to tidy everything up before asking for help.

Tell us what you know: roughly how far behind the books are, which accounts are involved, and whether there is an upcoming deadline. That gives the first conversation a useful starting point.

Discuss your catch-up needs

First, understand the starting point.

Historical gaps can change the work required. We’ll discuss whether catch-up needs to come before recurring support and what additional review may be needed to define the scope.

Then, agree on the ongoing routine.

The aim is a clearer handoff from getting current to keeping records organized, with responsibilities established before work begins.

A PLANNED TRANSITION

Changing support shouldn’t mean guessing what happens next.

Use the first conversation to raise concerns about your existing records, current provider, or access to your accounting system.

You can also discuss bookkeeping alongside an existing tax preparer. Tax returns are scoped separately. Reviews and advisory meetings follow your selected monthly tier.

  1. 01 / Check fit. Describe your business, current setup, and what needs attention.
  2. 02 / Agree on the work. Review the scope, fees, responsibilities and any catch-up work. Ask questions, then sign the service agreement before work begins.
  3. 03 / Plan the handoff. Receive a welcome guide and a clear list of the records and access needed to start. We review what arrives and confirm any gaps.
  4. 04 / Establish the routine. Records are due by the 5th each month. Reports are targeted by the 30th, subject to complete, timely records. Weekend and major-holiday deadlines move to the next business day. Meetings and support follow your selected tier.
BEFORE YOU BOOK

Questions about bookkeeping services.

The Discovery Call helps us decide which service fits your needs. It is not a detailed review of your books or a tax-advice session.

Can I keep my current tax preparer?

Raise that preference during the Discovery Call. We can discuss the bookkeeping support you need and the handoff of information, with responsibilities agreed in the engagement.

Does bookkeeping include payroll or tax returns?

Not automatically. Payroll and tax returns need a separate scope unless expressly included. Financial reviews and advisory meetings follow your selected tier and agreement.

Will I need to change bookkeeping software?

Tell us what you use now. We confirm whether that setup fits the agreed work and explain any proposed change, access requirements and software costs before you commit.

What should I have ready for the Discovery Call?

A general picture of your business, current bookkeeping process, approximate number of accounts, how far behind you may be, and any deadlines. You don’t need to send financial documents to explain your starting point.

How should I share financial records?

Ask for the agreed document-sharing method before sending records. Keep passwords, bank details, tax IDs, and sensitive documents out of the appointment description.

Can you quote before reviewing my situation?

The workload determines the scope and fee. The Discovery Call establishes the starting point; additional information or a separately scoped review may be needed before a firm quote. Any fee for that review is explained and agreed before it starts.
